Creative Labs I-Trigue 3330 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System with NeoTitanium Driver TechnologySound is good, easy to hook up, looks cool, just not shielded which i suppose i could have figured out by looking at them. Not shielded means that my cell phone sets them to buzzing and popping and since i use them on my work computer i get a lot of buzzing and popping. They don't seem to like my dryer much either.
As others mention in the reviews, you turn it up and the volume goes down. The first issue, which I've noticed from first use, is they are very susceptible to cell phone interference. These speakers sound and look nice, but they have two very annoying problems. You just touch it and the volume goes up. Anytime my iPhone connects to the network (which is often), the speakers make a loud buzzing noise. Very annoying. The second issue, which has gotten progressively worse, is that the volume control knob has a mind of its own. Now the volume is going up and down without me even touching the knob. I've contacted Creative customer support, we'll see what they say.
I folded it vertically and, using tweezers, wedged it into the space between the dial knob and the surrounding grey plastic. Frustrated with the lack of even a make shift solution on the internet I took matters into my own hands. I have had the same problem as many with this product, namely the jump volume knob. I posted a picture here -> [.].It increases the friction between the knob and the plastic and since I've done it I haven't had the random volume jumps. This is a partial solution (as completely fixing it would likely require taking it apart and replacing parts, soldering, etc). and it might not work for everyone. Here's what I did.I cut a small piece of paper a little over 1 inch long and about 1.5 cm wide. Hope it works. If it does, spread the word because I know a lot of people have this issue.-Sean
I have used this product for about a week with no problem. After a week, (I have thrown away the receipt, the box, etc.). the volume of speaker goes loud and quiet without anyone controlling it. It has good sounds but only lasted a week, and it's not even returnable.Find something else, there are many other good products
This speakers system is actually poorer than its predecessor. a lingering, droning sound after every time the sub-woofer is called into action. The overall sound quality is lower. More specifically, the sub-woofer is sub-par, there's too much dead base. As far as the satellite speakers go, they seem to be the exact same thing as its predecessors but the output from them has too much treble and little life or richness in sound quality. At times, the treble is so excessive, you'll feel as if it's splitting or sparking.I have never owned any Logitech speakers so I can't give direct comparison but I'd recommend considering their Z-4 or Z-2300.
